ATTENTION
BRJGT PARTICIPANTS...
Due to
having two events "rained out", we have decided to open
the entry for the BRJGT Tour Championship at Glenrochie
Country Club to all registered BRJGT participants.
In other
words, ALL BRJGT participants are eligible for the Tour
Championship.
You MUST
get your entry form in to the BRJGT address (PO Box
1045, Bluefield, VA) no later than Tuesday, July 20th.
LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!! If you have
credit for one, or both, of the "rained out"
tournaments, you may use that credit for the Tour
Championship. Please make a note on your entry
form that you wish to use that credit as your entry fee.
If you have any questions or
concerns regarding the event or credit due, you may
contact us by email (brjgt@yahoo.com)
or call Jeff Atwell at 304-952-0666.
Remember...the entry deadline is Tuesday, July 20th...we
must have your entry form and fee in hand by that
date or you will not get in the tournament!!! |

ATTENTION PARTICIPANTS AND PARENTS!!!!
DUE TO
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, THE GREENBRIER HAS
ASKED TO MOVE THE ADULT/JUNIOR TOURNAMENT AND THE
GREENBRIER JUNIOR INVITATIONAL FROM JULY 14-15 TO MONDAY
AND TUESDAY, JULY 5-6, 2010.
AS THE
GREENBRIER EVENTS ARE TWO OF OUR PREMIER EVENTS, WE WANT
TO DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO KEEP THEM ON THE SCHEDULE
THIS SEASON. IN ORDER TO DO SO, WE HAVE AGREED TO
CHANGE THE DATES TO MONDAY AND TUESDAY, JULY 5-6, 2010.
IF YOU
HAVE ALREADY SENT IN YOUR ENTRY FORMS FOR EITHER THE
ADULT/JUNIOR TOURNAMENT OR THE GREENBRIER JUNIOR
INVITATIONAL, PLEASE CONTACT JEFF ATWELL,
brjgt@yahoo.com or 304-952-0666, AND LET HIM
KNOW IF YOU PLAN TO PLAY IN THE EVENTS ON THE NEW DATE.
FOR
THOSE THAT HAVE NOT SENT IN YOUR ENTRY FORMS YET, PLEASE
LET JEFF KNOW OF YOUR INTENTIONS TO PLAY IN EITHER
EVENT.
PLEASE
MAIL ALL ENTRY FORMS AND FEES TO THE BRJGT ADDRESS...DO
NOT BRING ENTRY FORMS AND MONEY TO THE TOURNAMENT!!!
SINCE
THE NEW TOURNAMENT DATES WILL BE NEXT MONDAY
(ADULT/JUNIOR) AND TUESDAY (GREENBRIER JUNIOR
INVITATIONAL), WE MUST HEAR FROM
YOU BY THIS FRIDAY, JULY 2, 2010. IF WE DO
NOT HEAR FROM YOU, WE WILL CONSIDER THAT A "NO" AND YOU
WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE EVENTS.
WE ARE
SORRY FOR THE SHORT NOTICE AND INCONVENIENCE BUT THIS IS
THE ONLY THING WE CAN DO TO KEEP THE EVENTS ON THE
SCHEDULE THIS SEASON.
IF YOU
HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CONTACT DEWAYNE BELCHER,
276-326-2089, OR JEFF ATWELL,
brjgt@yahoo.com
or 304-952-0666.
PLEASE
LET YOUR FRIENDS KNOW...PASS THE WORD!!!!
|
Reminder...calling Jeff Atwell at 304-952-0666 at least 48 hours prior to the
tournament is the ONLY way to properly withdraw from an event. Calling
other BRJGT officials or the host club is not acceptable!!!
Code of Conduct
Attention
Participants & Parents
ALL ENTRY FORMS AND FEES
MUST BE SENT TO THE BRJGT ADDRESS ON THE ENTRY FORM!!!
Please do not send them
to the host club or give them to a BRJGT official in hopes that they will turn
it in for you...YOU WILL NOT GET INTO THE EVENT OR TOURNAMENT BY DOING THIS!!!
Due to the overwhelming
number of participants this season, it is advisable that you get your entry
forms in as soon as possible.
All tournament entry
deadlines are one week prior to the tournament. If we do not have your entry by
the deadline date, you may not get in the tournament.
Tee times for each
tournament have to be created and posted on the website and sent to the host
clubs five days prior to the tournament.
If we receive your entry
after the deadline, you will be added to the tournament on a first-come,
first-serve basis IF AND ONLY IF there is space available in that age
group.
If we receive your entry
after the deadline and the age group is full, you will be placed on a waiting
list, once again "first-come, first-serve", and may only get in the tournament
if there are withdrawls in that age group.
Attention
BRJGT Players, Parents, and Spectators
Parents and spectators
need to be aware that getting too close to the player during competition
puts the player at risk of receiving a two-stroke penalty and/or possible
disqualification.
The recommended distance
is 50 feet.
It is important to
maintain a fair, competitive environment.
Therefore, please stay
away from the players.
