Tour News & Notes

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!

The entry fee amount for The 2008 Greenbrier Adult/Parent-Junior Tournament on the entry form has been listed incorrectly.

THE CORRECT AMOUNT IS $80/PLAYER OR $160/TEAM.

Attention BRJGT Players, Parents, and Spectators

Parents and spectators need to be aware that getting too close to the player during competition puts the player at risk of receiving a two-stroke penalty and/or possible disqualification.  There have been several occasions in recent tournaments when rules officials have had to intervene and ask questions as to the topic of conversation between player and parent/spectator.  The recommended distance is 50 feet.  It is important to maintain a fair, competitive environment.  Therefore, please stay away from the players.

Official Procedure for Withdrawal from a Tournament/Event

A player must notify Jeffrey Atwell at 304-952-0666 at least 48 hours in advance of the tournament from which they intend to withdraw.  This is the only acceptable procedure for official withdrawal; emails, telephoning the host club golf shop, notes given to starter, or faxes are not acceptable.  Failing to properly withdraw from a tournament and/or failing to show up for the competition will forfeit the entry fee and the player will be suspended from the next entered tournament.  Credit will be given for proper withdrawal or refunds will be mailed at the end of the season.

Tour Applications, Medical Release Forms, Code of Conduct Forms, Parent/Spectator Guideline Forms, Event & Tournament Entry Forms MUST BE SENT TO OUR POST OFFICE BOX ADDRESS!!!

All Applications and Forms MUST BE MAILED to the BRJGT address listed on the applications/forms!  If you do not send the applications/forms to the correct address, you will not receive your Tour Packet and will not be entered into the event/tournament in which you wish to participate.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!
